Dullingam January ye 19th 1712/13 Sir I perceived this day your Joint Letter wth the inclosed from Coll: Lambert who by his former Letter seemed to have a prospect of what since happened as to yor damage done to my Plantation wch was not done by Capt Burrell but by Major Gilliard his Partner who as I was advised last Summer [there after]* so to doe and might have been prevented from so doeing if the Governour had been pleased to interpose his authority but my Letter must have come to late to ...
