...Petition of Winborn Adams Commander of the Armed Schooner called The Wann..."...Petition of Winborn Adams Commander of the Armed Schooner called The Wann [i.e., Warren] imployed in the Service of the United Colonies to cruise against the open and avowed Enemies of the said Colonies in behalf of Himself and his Associates... being out on a Cruise... saw a Schooner to wch he gave chase... she came from Novascotia and was bound to Boston...
